Prices and rules
Clear prices and rules reduce questions and make it easier for guests to make decisions.
Set the right base price
- Compare similar accommodations in the area.
- Consider the size, location, and amenities of your accommodation.
- UKA Pain is peak season, prices can be higher than usual.
- You can always adjust the price later.
Cleaning fee
A cleaning fee is a one-time charge per booking. A typical range is SEK 300–800 depending on the size of the accommodation.
Add-on: Breakfast
- Example price: 50–150 SEK per person per night.
- Be clear about what is included.
- Think about the logistics for early starts.
Add-on: Bed linen
- Example price: 100–200 SEK per person per stay.
- Explain what is included (sheets, duvet, pillowcase).
- The alternative can be that guests bring their own.
Add-on: Towels
- Example price: 50–150 SEK per person per stay.
- Be clear about what is included (e.g. bath towel + hand towel).

Cancellation policy
Eventboende uses a common standard policy for all bookings.
- Before payment: cancel for free at any time
- 14 days or more before check-in: 50% refund
- Less than 14 days before check-in: no refund

The service fee is non-refundable.
If you as a host need to cancel a confirmed booking, the guest receives a full refund.
Check-in and check-out
- Typical check-in: 15:00–16:00.
- Typical check-out: 10:00–11:00.
- Be clear about key handover and any flexibility.
House rules
- Smoking, pets, quiet hours, and maximum number of guests.
- Parking, rubbish handling, and no-shoes policy indoors.
- Explain why the rules exist to create understanding.
Especially important during UKA Pain
- Early breakfast and shower facilities near the race centre.
- Early start and key handover early in the morning.
- Access to kitchen and shower at unusual times.

Price fields
Enter a clear base price per night, add a cleaning fee if needed, and use add-ons for things the guest should be able to choose themselves.
Booking requirements
Set a minimum number of guests and minimum number of nights if you want to control which bookings can be submitted.
Check-in/check-out
Set times you can actually keep. This reduces last-minute questions from guests.
House rules
Write short and clear rules in the House Rules field, especially for things that often lead to misunderstandings.
